Meet the band
CINDY LOU BANKS
Cindy is best known for fronting the alt-country band No Way Home as the lead singer and award-winning songwriter. Signed to Tim/Kerr records/Sub Pop, the band toured the NW and were two-time winners of the Portland Music Awards for Best Country Act. She has appeared at the Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall, Hult Center, Rose Festival, Country On The Waterfront, WOW Hall, Key Largo, Satyricon, played the Oregon rodeo circuit and was a featured artist on Oregon Art Beat.
BRAD PRICE There is no better way to introduce Brad than linking this video of his amazing playing. Devoted father, great friend, geek and the best guitar player in the NW that you may not have heard of because he never talks about himself. Listen to this guy and then come and see us!
Is there anything this guy can't do? Donny is a master at bass, keyboards and guitar. If it has strings, he can play it. He's also a great singer/songwriter, all around good guy and a seasoned, touring musician who has toured with Tracy Grammar, Tom May and Anne Weiss. We are lucky to have him.
Marty is a fixture in the blues and country music scene in Portland. He was the drummer and vocalist in Rebecca Kilgore’s retro country band Beck-A-Roo and indie-darlings Elisabeth Ames and the Countrypolitans. He's currently appearing regularly with our friend and local legend, Robbie Laws.
We feel like the luckiest band in the world to have veteran guitar and clawhammer banjo master Barry Crannell join us on stage. Barry is an award-winning songwriter taking honors at the Kerrville New Folk contest. He's also half of the duo "Heart and Hammer" with his wife, talented singer/songwriter Julianna Waters. Barry teaches privately and is a frequent staff member at the Puget Sound Guitar Workshop. He also happens to have the dubious honor of being a Gong Show winner (and just an all-around nice guy).
